Boundless Group is proud to announce the inaugural Boundless Youth Day Expo, a milestone event dedicated to unlocking pathways for township youth into South Africa’s growing digital economy.
Taking place on 16 June 2025, Youth Day, at Soweto’s first Tech-Ed Campus, the Expo will convene learners, graduates, industry leaders, and public sector stakeholders for a dynamic, future-focused programme. The day will feature interactive workshops, career exhibitions, digital skills showcases, and networking sessions, all designed to empower unemployed and underrepresented youth with the knowledge and exposure needed to thrive in ICT, innovation, and tech-enabled sectors.
Under the national Youth Month theme, “Skills for the Changing World – Empowering Youth for Meaningful Economic Participation,” this event comes at a critical moment. With South Africa’s youth unemployment rate remaining among the highest globally, Boundless Group is taking bold, practical
steps to bridge the opportunity gap.
“This is more than just an event — it’s a call to action,” said Sipho Claassen, Group Managing Director of Boundless Group. “We are building a platform where youth are not only inspired but equipped to step into the future with confidence and capability.”
Boundless Academy, the Group’s accredited skills development arm, has to date equipped thousands of young people with fully funded, future-facing training in disciplines such as machine learning, cybersecurity, data analytics, cloud computing, and AI automation. The Expo will also offer insights
into these high-demand fields, with live demonstrations and pathways to apply for training, learnerships, and internships.
Boundless Group’s impact model is driven by cross-sector collaboration and localised delivery, and the Expo reflects this commitment. Employers, government departments, NGOs, and funders will showcase the full ecosystem of support available to youth — ensuring this is not just a one-day
event, but a launchpad for long-term career growth and economic inclusion.
