A massive manhunt is underway for unknown suspects after the body of a 35-year-old man was discovered in Mamaila Village on Monday, 20 October 2025.
According to police reports, officers were called to a scene near a well-known shopping complex in the village. Upon arrival, they discovered the deceased male lying in the bushes. The victim was found with stab wounds to his throat and was clothed only in his trousers.
A preliminary police report indicates that the victim, now identified as Mr. Phatudi Thabang Tevin, had left his home on Thursday, 18 October, at approximately 18:00. He told his family he was going to the nearest shop but never returned.
The motive for the killing is currently unknown. Police confirmed that the ongoing investigation will work to determine the exact cause of death.
