In an intelligence-driven operation on Thursday, 06 November 2025, police in Petrusville arrested four men after discovering a substantial quantity of dagga with an estimated street value of R19,670.00.
The operation was launched after authorities received a tip-off regarding a drug delivery at a residence on Gevara Street in the Thembinkosi Location. Acting on this information, police conducted a search of the premises, where they allegedly uncovered the illicit substance.
The suspects, aged 18, 22, 28, and 62, were apprehended at the scene. The group comprises one South African citizen and three foreign nationals.
The drugs were confiscated by police. All four men are now facing charges of dealing in drugs and are expected to be formally charged upon their appearance in the Petrusville Magistrate’s Court in the coming days.
