A coordinated intelligence operation culminated in the arrest of a male suspect for possession of suspected stolen property, including livestock and a vehicle, at the Stoffberg Traffic Weigh Bridge on Friday, 14 November 2025.
The successful operation was conducted by members of the Sekhukhune District and Rosenekal South African Police Service (SAPS), in collaboration with the Laersdrift SAPS.
According to authorities, the suspect was found in possession of a Nissan NP200 bakkie and livestock, both suspected to be stolen. Preliminary investigations have linked the alleged suspect to numerous other criminal cases.
The suspect is expected to face charges of possession of suspected stolen property. Police have indicated that further investigations are ongoing.
