Vesconite Bearings is proud to announce that it has been named the Exporter of the Year in its turnover category at the South African Capital Equipment Export Council’s (SACEEC) Exporter of the Year Awards. The prestigious award was presented at a ceremony held on November 11, 2025, at the Kopanong Hotel and Conference Centre, Benoni, and recognises Vesconite Bearings’ exceptional export growth and continued global success.
Exports accounted for 70% of Vesconite Bearings’ turnover in the financial year ending June 2025, representing a 22% increase over the previous period. This achievement highlights the company’s strong international presence and commitment to serving industrial clients across multiple sectors worldwide.
Founded in 1958 and headquartered in South Africa, Vesconite Bearings has been exporting its advanced bearing and wear materials since 1975, when it shipped its first order to Helsinki Laakeri, a bearing supplier in Finland. Today, the company exports to over 100 countries, with customers in industries ranging from pumps, marine, mining, rail, agriculture, and renewable energy, to construction, food and beverage, materials handling and many others.
Vesconite Bearings manufactures a wide range of hollow bars, rods, plates, and finished machined parts from its proprietary engineered bearing materials, which are known for their low friction, high load capacity, and excellent wear resistance. The company’s product portfolio includes Vesconite, Vesconite Hilube, Vesconite Superlube, Hitemp 150, Hitemp 160, Hitemp 230, VescoNylon, Vescoflex, Hilube 10 and Hilube 20.
