Three suspects have been arrested for the hijacking and robbery of a 65-year-old Botswana national.
The suspects—two men, aged 29 and 30, and a 17-year-old female—were arrested on Monday, 15 December 2025, just after 17:00 in Potchefstroom.
The arrest followed a tip-off about the hijacking. A coordinated operation was activated involving Crime Intelligence, the Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Flying Squad, the Provincial Drug Task Team, and multiple private security companies.
