Two Arrested for Attempted Bribery

On Saturday, 20 December 2025, police arrested two suspects for bribery and corruption.

The arrest occurred after the men offered the station commander R12,600 for the release of a relative. The relative had been arrested for possessing an AK-47 assault rifle with thirteen rounds of ammunition.

The suspects are now in custody on bribery charges.
