Drug Operation Leads to Arrest in Standerton

An intelligence-driven operation by Standerton Crime Intelligence (CI), with assistance from the Standerton K9 Unit, led to the arrest of a 43-year-old man on charges of drug dealing on 11 March 2026.

According to police reports, authorities acted on received information regarding alleged drug dealing activities in the area. Officers monitored the suspect and conducted an operation that resulted in the apprehension.

During the arrest, members found the male suspect in possession of 510 full Mandrax tablets. The seizure weighed approximately 899 grams and carries an estimated street value of R75,000.

The suspect has been formally charged with dealing in drugs. He is expected to appear before the Standerton Magistrate’s Court soon.
