Fidelity recommends the following practical safety measures:

- Stay alert in public spaces, particularly in parking areas and when using public transport
- Keep valuables out of sight to avoid attracting unnecessary attention
- Save emergency contacts on speed dial for quick access in urgent situations
- Scan your surroundings when approaching your home or vehicle
- Trust your instincts and remove yourself from situations that feel unsafe
- Use safety technology, including mobile panic buttons and monitored response services, for rapid assistance when needed.
