FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth police reported no leads or arrests Saturday following the stabbing of a 14-year-old boy Thursday afternoon in far south Fort Worth.
The attack occurred as the teenager was walking home in a neighborhood near Interstate 35 and Risinger Road. According to investigators, three assailants assaulted the boy, stabbing him in the stomach and legs before fleeing the scene.
Police have not released any descriptions of the suspects, and the investigation remains ongoing.
A Fort Worth Police Department spokesperson confirmed the victim is expected to survive his injuries.
The incident has left residents in the area concerned about safety in the neighborhood. Authorities continue to urge anyone with information about the stabbing to contact Fort Worth police.
