FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth Fire EMS reported that two people are in critical condition and a third is in serious condition following a shooting Wednesday evening in the Villages of Woodland Springs neighborhood. A fourth person was also injured but not shot.
The incident occurred a little after 8 p.m. in the 5100 block of Persimmon Court, at a two-story home in what neighbors described as a normally quiet residential area. Police tape cordoned off the property as officers remained on scene late into the evening, with multiple patrol units surrounding the location.

Some mentioned hearing preliminary rumors about possible events leading up to the shooting and a potential suspect nearby, but no official suspect information has been released.
Public Information Officers from the Fort Worth Police Department were present at the scene, and authorities indicated that additional details would be forthcoming as the investigation continues. At this early stage, the circumstances that sparked the altercation remain unclear.
The shooting is under active investigation by Fort Worth police.
