South Fulton police are actively investigating a shooting that occurred outside a Zaxby’s restaurant on Highway 92 at South Fulton Parkway.
According to police spokespersons, the incident took place around 3:30 a.m. Despite the early hour, officers remained on scene well into the afternoon as the lengthy investigation continued. An aerial sky tracker unit was deployed over the location earlier in the day.
The victim was transported to a hospital in critical condition. Spokespersons indicated that the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unclear at this time.
As of the latest update from authorities, no suspects are in custody.
