SAN ANTONIO — A 56-year-old man is recovering in the hospital after being shot inside his home during an early morning incident on the city’s northeast side, police said.
The shooting occurred around 3 a.m. on Serna Park. According to police, the victim and another individual became involved in an argument earlier, after which the other person left the scene.
Sometime later, while the 56-year-old man was asleep, several gunshots struck his residence, wounding him in the legs.
Police have not made any arrests in connection with the shooting as of Wednesday morning.
A police spokesperson confirmed the man is recovering from his injuries. No further details about the suspect or possible motive have been released.
