San Antonio police are investigating a shooting that occurred just after 10:00 p.m. on Excellence Drive at a southwest-side apartment complex parking lot.
According to SAPD, the victim was attempting to sell jewelry when he got into an argument with a suspect. The suspect grabbed one of the jewelry pieces, then pulled out a gun and demanded more property. The victim was shot in the leg during the confrontation.
The injured man was transported to a hospital for treatment. The shooter fled the scene and remains at large.
Police have not released descriptions of the suspect or additional details about the incident at this time.
