Police in Letsitele have arrested a 21-year-old murder suspect following the fatal stabbing of a 24-year-old man on Sunday, 10 May 2026.
The incident occurred at Nkambako Village. Officers were called to a local clinic where the victim had been brought with stab wounds. Upon arrival, police found that medical personnel had already certified the man dead.
The deceased has been identified as Dzunani Junior Ngobeni, 24, a resident of Nkambako Village.
According to preliminary information, the victim was allegedly stabbed at the gate of a homestead within the village before being taken to the clinic for treatment.
Police arrested the suspect the day after the incident.
The suspect is scheduled to appear before the Ritavi Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 12 May 2026.
