WESTBROOK — The body of an adult male was recovered from the ocean off Casuarina Beach earlier today.
IPSS Search and Rescue responded to initial reports of a body floating in the water near Westbrook. To assist in the operation, a volunteer-piloted drone was deployed, successfully locating the remains just off the Casuarina coastline.
IPSS members on the scene recovered the body and subsequently handed it over to the Tongaat South African Police Service (SAPS) for further processing.
