The destination was officially launched during a special unveiling ceremony attended by industry partners, media, tourism stakeholders and guests.
The Home of Klipdrift at Van Ryn’s combines the rich heritage, craftsmanship and world-class brandy-making expertise of Van Ryn’s with the warmth, generosity and unmistakable spirit of Klipdrift. Guests can now experience a range of tastings, guided distillery tours, events and immersive brand experiences that celebrate South Africa’s proud brandy heritage.
Located at the historic Van Ryn’s Distillery, the destination offers visitors the opportunity to explore a working distillery, visit a maturation cellar, experience a cooperage demonstration, enjoy curated tastings and discover the stories behind two legendary South African brands. The re-imagined space has been thoughtfully designed around the themes of fire, wood, colour and time, reflecting the journey of brandy from vineyard to glass.

The unveiling also marked the culmination of a long-term vision to reimagine the Van Ryn’s brand home experience while creating a new home for Klipdrift enthusiasts to gather, celebrate and connect.

The Home of Klipdrift at Van Ryn’s is now open to the public seven days a week for tastings and retail sales, with guided distillery tours available throughout the week.
