The final selection has been made, and we are delighted to announce the 22 artists who will take part in the inaugural Plettenberg Bay Arts Association’s (PAA) White House Collection, taking place at The White House Theatre in Plettenberg Bay from 25 September to 4 October 2026, as part of the annual Plett ARTS Festival 2026.
Artists from across South Africa submitted portfolios for consideration, with the final selection made by our independent curatorial panel of Barbara Lenhard, Elize Bezuidenhout and Dallas Smith.
The panel considered the strength and originality of the work, artistic execution and how each artist’s work would contribute to the Collection as a whole.
The result is an exciting and varied exhibition of contemporary South African art, bringing together different styles, media and artistic voices in one carefully curated collection.
