What do you get when you combine five courses of Durban-inspired curry with one of South Africa’s most entertaining comedians? An evening that promises to be considerably spicier than your average night out.
Vergelegen Wine Estate in Somerset West is turning up the heat on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 August, welcoming acclaimed Durban comedian Mo Vawda for curry, comedy and conviviality.
Vawda is a multi-talented comedian, actor, filmmaker, scriptwriter and presenter, as well as an academic at UKZN with a PhD in statistics.
For Firehorse, however, his brief is simple: make people laugh, while acclaimed chef Michelle Barry and her team ensure no appetite goes home disappointed. In other words, come hungry – and bring your sense of humour.
