A 33-year-old foreign national was arrested in Malvern East, Ekurhuleni District, on Friday after police found him in possession of military explosives.
The arrest followed information received by the Anti-Gang Unit about a man possessing explosives. Police conducted an operation and raided a house, where they found the suspect with the explosives.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court facing charges of possession of military explosives.
