GAUTENG – The South African Police Service (SAPS) has heightened police visibility across the province through continuous air and ground monitoring operations. Key areas currently under surveillance include Olivenhoutbosch, Sunnyside, and Thembisa.
SAPS air support units are actively assisting ground teams from the skies to ensure enhanced rapid response capabilities and effective coverage of identified hotspots.
These coordinated operations, conducted with the assistance of other law enforcement agencies, form part of ongoing efforts to maintain law and order, prevent criminality, and ensure public safety throughout Gauteng.
SAPS has reaffirmed its commitment to protecting communities and ensuring safer environments for all residents in the province.
