An intelligence-driven operation by members of the South African Police Service (SAPS) in the Waterberg District resulted in the arrest of a 21-year-old male suspect and the seizure of dagga with an estimated street value of more than R120,000.
The successful operation was conducted on Thursday, 19 February 2026, in Modimolle.
The suspect is scheduled to appear before the Modimolle Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 23 February 2026, facing a charge of dealing in drugs.
The case has been transferred to the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI) for further investigation.
