Waterville, Maine — A 19-year-old fugitive from New York was taken into custody Friday after police arrested him at a residence on West River Road.
David McCadney faces a warrant from New York authorities for second-degree murder related to multiple gang shootings. He was apprehended at the Waterville home and is now being held at the Kennebec County Correctional Facility.
The arrest was confirmed by police, who noted that McCadney had been wanted in connection with the New York incidents prior to his detention in Maine.
