The Chris Hani District Task Team arrested two suspects for drug possession and dealing on Sunday, 21 December 2025.
The arrests occurred during an Operation Safer Festive Season. The operation included high-visibility patrols in hotspot areas, stop-and-searches, searches for illegal firearms, and the closure of illegal shebeens.
