The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Lebowakgomo is investigating a business burglary at Hwelereng Primary School in Ga-Mphahlele, Capricorn District.
Police were summoned to the school on the evening of Saturday, 20 December 2025. According to a report from an educator, the burglary occurred between Friday, 12 December 2025, and approximately 04:00 on Saturday, 20 December 2025.
Preliminary findings indicate suspect(s) broke into classrooms and offices. Stolen property, valued at over R167,700, includes:
