San Antonio: West Side Stabbing Suspect Flees on Bicycle; Police Identify Target

Police are searching for a man who stabbed a 32-year-old victim in the chest following an argument late last night on the city’s west side. Authorities say they know who they are looking for, but no arrests have been made at this time.

The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Veracruz near Southwest 19th Street, where two men were arguing in the middle of the road. The dispute escalated when one of the men stabbed the other in the chest.

The victim was transported to BAMC (Brooke Army Medical Center) with life-threatening injuries.

The suspect fled the scene on a bicycle. San Antonio police noted that witnesses at the scene helped officers narrow down a possible suspect.

Police officials confirmed they have a specific individual in mind, but the investigation remains active. Further updates are expected as the search continues.
