SAN ANTONIO, Texas – A long-simmering dispute between neighbors on the city’s south side turned violent this week, leaving a 52-year-old man with life-threatening injuries after he was shot by a 58-year-old suspect, according to police.
Authorities confirmed that the two men lived across from each other on East Young and South Flores. Police say the pair have a prior history of conflict, which ultimately escalated to gunfire.
Emergency responders transported the 52-year-old victim to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
Officers arrested the 58-year-old suspect at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
