Busiswa set to light up the stage at the Totalsports Women’s Race in 2026

Renowned for her electrifying performances and chart-topping hits spanning Kwaito, House, Gqom, Amapiano and Afropop, South African music powerhouse Busiswa will perform live at the Totalsports Women’s Race in Durban on Sunday, 02 August, Cape Town on Sunday, 09 August, and Johannesburg on Sunday, 16 August 2026, ensuring participants and supporters enjoy an unforgettable race-day experience both on and off the route.

Reflecting on her role in the 2026 Totalsports Women’s Race, Busiswa highlighted the strong connection between her personal wellness journey and the event’s celebration of women’s strength, health and empowerment.

“Being part of the Totalsports Women’s Race is a tremendous honour and feels like the perfect fit for me. I’ve been on a personal health and wellness journey that has challenged me not only as a performer, but also in terms of my physical fitness, mental wellness and overall health. The Totalsports Women’s Race celebrates women, and I love that it brings together women from across South Africa who inspire one another to live well, embrace community and take care of their bodies, minds and souls. Those are values that resonate deeply with me and are reflected in my music.”

Looking ahead to the three events, Busiswa shared what racegoers can expect from her performances.

“I feel like this is where I thrive most as a performer because the energy at the Totalsports Women’s Race is absolutely electric. I’m expecting plenty of singing along, dancing and women of all ages simply enjoying the moment together. After 13 years in the music industry, I’ve learned that the best memories are created when people are fully present and sharing an experience. My goal is to unite the crowd through music, create unforgettable moments and bring an extra dose of happiness to every event.”
