NORTH WEST — The South African Police Service (SAPS) in the North West province has arrested a 31-year-old man in connection with the murder of a 25-year-old woman in Deelpan Village, Sannieshof.
Police were summoned to the village on the morning of Friday, 26 June 2026, where they discovered the victim’s body. Preliminary investigations indicate that the fatal incident occurred between 22:00 on Thursday, 25 June 2026, and 06:00 on Friday, 26 June 2026. Authorities allege that the deceased was assaulted and fatally stabbed during a domestic incident involving her boyfriend.
Following a rapid police response, the 31-year-old male suspect was apprehended and currently remains in police custody. He is scheduled to appear before the Delareyville Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 29 June 2026, facing a charge of murder.
