Radisson Blu Hotel Sandton reflects on its role in supporting Operation Smile South Africa’s life-changing surgical programme
Johannesburg, South Africa – Radisson Blu Hotel Sandton is honoured to have once again partnered with Operation Smile South Africa as the hospitality partner for its annual surgical programme at Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital.
Over the course of the weekend, volunteer medical professionals from across South Africa came together to provide life-changing cleft lip and palate surgeries to approximately 40 children. Surgeons, anaesthesiologists, nurses, speech therapists, psychologists and support teams generously dedicated their time and expertise to helping children and their families access life-changing care.
As the home base for the volunteer teams during their stay in Johannesburg, Radisson Blu Hotel Sandton witnessed firsthand the passion, commitment and compassion that make this initiative so extraordinary.
