Primrose Dagga Arrest: Two Tanzanian Nationals Held After Intelligence-Led Operation

PRIMROSE, GAUTENG — A major Primrose dagga arrest has resulted in two Tanzanian nationals being taken into custody after an intelligence-driven police operation in Johannesburg. The suspects, aged between 25 and 38, were apprehended for the possession of dagga following a targeted raid on a residential property in the suburb.

According to statements released by Johannesburg police spokespersons, the operation was initiated after authorities received actionable intelligence regarding two men allegedly running a drug-dealing enterprise from a specific address in the area. Law enforcement officials immediately operationalized the tip-off, leading a tactical team to the identified premises to execute a search.

During the thorough search of the property, police recovered six bags filled with the illicit substance. Both suspects were arrested on the spot. Johannesburg police representatives confirmed that the two men are currently in custody and are expected to make their first court appearance soon to face formal charges. Meanwhile, investigators continue to probe the matter to determine if the operation is linked to a broader distribution network.
