MUSINA – A Zimbabwean national has been arrested at the Musina border post on bribery charges after attempting to bribe a National Traffic Police officer to evade deportation.
Following the incident, the National Traffic Police issued a statement commending the involved officers for their honesty and dedication. The police force reiterated its strict commitment to upholding the law with professionalism and integrity, emphasizing that corruption has no place within law enforcement.
“Our officers will not betray their badge, oath, or the trust placed in them by the public,” the statement read, praising the officers for serving South Africa with honor and integrity.
