Entries for the Totalsports TWO OCEANS MARATHON powered by BYD Night Run, International Friendship Run and Trail Runs open today (Monday, 03 August 2026), while the Ballot Entry Process for the iconic HALF MARATHON and ULTRA MARATHON opens on Wednesday, 05 August 2026.

We look forward to welcoming thousands of participants back to Cape Town in 2027 to experience the passion, camaraderie and beauty that have made the Two Oceans Marathon the World’s Most Beautiful Marathon.”
Highlighting the unique experiences that await participants, Wade Bromfield, Event Director of the Totalsports TWO OCEANS MARATHON powered by BYD, says the 2027 event promises something special for every runner, from first-timers to seasoned TWO OCEANS veterans.

About the Ballot System: Ballot applications will be taken from 10:00 on Wednesday 05 August until 22:00 on Sunday 16 August. The successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified on Tuesday 18 August, and will have until Monday 30 August to complete their entry payment.
