Crawford International continues to lead in educational technology, ensuring its teachers remain at the forefront of global innovation. As part of this commitment, all EdTech teachers at Crawford International are enrolled in the Microsoft Innovative Educator Programme, equipping them with the expertise to seamlessly integrate Microsoft tools into their teaching.
This year, Andrea Kruger, who teaches EdTech, to Grades 4-7 at Crawford International Pretoria Preparatory, has been invited as a guest speaker at the prestigious conference called “Cutting-Edge Technologies in Educational Practice” at a Microsoft Showcase School in Greece on 8-9 March 2025. She will represent South Africa on a global stage, sharing insights into Crawford International’s approach to technology-driven education.
With an Honours and Master’s degree in Computer-Integrated Education, Kruger brings a deep understanding of how digital tools enhance learning. She will contribute to discussions on this year’s theme, Integrating Microsoft Learning Accelerators for Differentiated Learning, highlighting how tailored technology solutions empower students with diverse learning needs.
Kruger, who will speak during the international schools’ session on Sunday, 9 March, reflects on this opportunity: “It’s a privilege to be part of this global conversation on the future of education. At Crawford International, we use technology not just as a tool but as an integral part of a dynamic, personalised learning experience. I look forward to sharing how we apply Microsoft Learning Accelerators to support differentiated learning in our classrooms, as well as showcasing the creativity and innovation of my students on an international platform,” she continues beaming, “I think that is amazing.”
Kruger’s participation accentuates Crawford International’s commitment to educational excellence, preparing students for a technology-driven future while contributing to global best practices in Ed-Tech.
