Giyani Regional Court sentenced 33-year-old Hlamalani Muxe Sambo to ten years’ imprisonment on Thursday, 29 January 2026, for a house robbery in Mphagane village.
The court also declared him unfit to possess a firearm.
On Wednesday, 01 August 2024, a female victim was sleeping at her home when Sambo entered and pointed a firearm at her.
Sergeant Dan Shirinda investigated the case and arrested Sambo in Mphagane village on 12 September 2024. During the arrest, Sambo was found in possession of an unlicensed firearm used in the robbery.
