ALEXANDRA — Authorities have launched a murder investigation following a fatal shooting in Alexandra on the night of June 30, 2026.
The incident occurred at approximately 20:00 between 8th and 9th Avenue. According to reports, community members were looting foreign national spaza shops in the area when shots were fired, fatally wounding one individual.
The victim has not yet been identified. No arrests have been made in connection with the incident, and police investigations remain actively underway.
